timing belt housing

anyone know how much hassle it is to remove the timing belt housing. have an oil leak from the gasket and is quite a bad leak ,so should realy do it just wondered if anyone knew how much of an arse its going to be to remove and refit

which engine ? but either not too hard ap;rt from crank pulley nut and seal it self ,fill rear of seal with vaseline to hold garter spring in place

ahhh is 300tdi engine have done the cam belt before os if its not much worse than that should be ok . thanks for the tio with seal is stuff like that if you dont know about can catch you out
