Time to let go!

I've got a 97 p38 Range Rover 2.5 bmw engine DT cloth interior been parked up for a while. I need it gone, what's the best thing to do mot it and sell it or just sell for breaking??
What money do you think I could get for it?

It depends what it needs for an MOT I would say, you could always take it for a test or pre MOT check and see what it needs

Money value 20p + one mars bar ! or park it in the street and hope some blind man steals it

Depends what you expect to get for it. I was looking at something like that earlier this year with mot and it was going for about 1k. If it's a fairly basic model then even with mot you're not going to get much more than a grand or so I wouldn't think.
However, if it's a good runner, someone might have it for not far off that just for the engine and gearbox (especially if you can demonstrate it running)
To be honest, from what I saw when I was after mine, I'd be inclined to put it on bay of e as it is.
Give it a good clean and get some good pics and it should draw a reasonable sum even without mot.

I recently sold my beloved BMW 740 (1997) as it failed its MOT and I ran out of time, space and money to fix it.....and having 3 cars was getting out of hand really....

I sold it on Ebay with no MOT, starting price of 0.99p ..... 10 days later it went for £726......it was in good condition, everything worked and was a really nice car....but it had to go....

I was nicely surprised by what I got for it...I thought anything over £400 would be nice, so £726 was awesome!!

Stick it on the bay and see what she goes for.

£4 - 500 if nothing much wrong with it.
£500 bin and hope.

Someone i know has just gotten rid of a 97 manual with an MOT for £600.00. Mind you it was a bit of a dog internally.

Will definitely pull more people with an MoT. And if it fails you know what it failed on and can give that to the new owner so no comeback there. Would agree. £700 - £1000 with an MoT. Without? Probably £300 - £500 but more of a risk.
