I've just finished my steering box on the S3. Pollen count is too high to do much on the rest of the rebuild, I'm wheezing like a 95 year old so I sat in the garden and slowly assembled the box. It's a fiddly job but not too hard - the difficult bit was obtaining the parts. They're mostly original LR bits but I had to get them from all over the place, worth the hassle 'cos I've renewed all the internals for less than £200, about half the cost of a "new" box. It's a bit wierd having almost no play across the whole steering radius. I might end up with a vehicle that goes in a straight line all on its own.
