Tickover speed

Does anyone know what the tickover speed should be for a 200TDI Auto?

I'd imagine it's same as 300Tdi: At running temp 720rpm +/- 20rpm

In P or N that should be OK,
But it will be a little slower in R D or any other 1-2-3 etc selector position due to some drag in the torque converter.

Thank you for the reply's. I got the engine from a manual car, so was just checking. Now got a haynes manual aswell, also says 720rpm.

Got the Disco up and running, after 6 months. Auto Box and engine problems, Managed to rebuild the autobox and get a 2nd hand engine in the end. Wanted to rebuild the engine, but the Crank has had it (Looks like a big end was running with out oil). So if anyone knows where there is a good (Very cheap) crank going for 200TDI, please let me know.

Just got to get the MOT and TAX now.
