Ticking Falsher Relay...

Hi guys I need some advice. The flasher relay on my 300tdi Disco 1 gave up the ghost yesterday and when removed it only had 3 terminals left, one had completely pulled out. I have renewed the relay (at great cost, can't believe what LR charge for one) and wey hey the indicators work. Only problem is the same relay is now clicking whenever I switch on any electrical accessory, from brake light via pedal to rear screen heater. Also there is now a trailer light appearing on the dashboard when I apply the hazard lights, this goes off when the hazards are switched off. I don't know whether the relay terminal is still in the fuse board. My question is , is the new relay suspect or do i have to have the fuse board out and find and remove the lost(?) terminal? Thanks guys

Is it the right relay?
Did the Part Numbers Match up?
And check that the old terminal is still not in the board...

Get the torch tweezers and a small screwdriver out and take the new relay out and get that broken bit out. Then double check you have the right new relay. Rimmer Bros do them online £15 aftermarket oif 2-3 days for LR one at £30 see : Land Rover Discovery 1 Relays at www.rimmerbros.co.uk

I got the old relay terminal out but relay still clicking when any elec item used. Got relay from a scrapper and clicking stopped but indicators now flashing double speed,hazards at correct speed. Trailer lights ok and have fitted new 7 pin connector. Confused. I am!!!
