Freelander 2 (LR2) tick tick tck

so i am sue i have a cracked manifold or something of the sort. cabin fumes are too much - battery box checked boot on steering column sorted, and i suspect an inlet leak and a possible issue around the crankcase breather. i have hammered the keyboard way too much and am starting to go round in circles.. could some stop me from spinning and point me in the right direction? lol

So turns out it was injector seals causing fumes noise and mess..
