Thump when letting out clutch.

I had a new VCU fitted to my Td4 earlier this year and since then I've noticed a thump from the back of the car if I let the clutch out unless I do it very gently. Not being too mechanically minded, do you have any suggestions as to what I should be looking at?

Probably the front mount on the rear diff. They are a part that commonly needs replacement. It has 3 mounts, the 2 back ones are usually fine.

I agree with the above replaced mine with more robust poly bushes.
