Hi All, I need to make some room in the engine bay for a smallish 20-30 ltr tank in the engine bay.
I would like to get rid of the air box and use that area for the second tank.
is there any simple smaller air filters that would go in its place Its an auto so I have the air flap in the way.

Is there a way to put a snorkel similar to a defender as I need the air intake as far back as possible. I am happy to make a new washer tank if the pipe goes through here.

Failing all that reduce the size of the air box, throw the useless jack out and use the space where people put the second battery.

I hope that makes sense.

Yes you can remove airbox and place a much smaller filter in.

I am wanting to heat the tank for veg and dont want the complication of heating the lines right to the back or a sill tank.
Snowman, any idea what fits.

I fitted one of these after fitting my 2nd battery.

Brill pics snowman. I may do something like that. I am wondering if I can remove the washer bottle and move the Maff over to there and make a smaller washer bottle. That way i will have more room for a bigger tank.
K and N do a foam type filter poss oil based and it wears a little coat to help keep dirt and water out.
Looks like I have several options.

The big washer bottle is useful as I use the washers a lot when out playing in the mud. Ok I guess if you just carry plenty of washer fluid with you so you can top it up.

I'd keep the washer bottle as above and the bigger screen does get filthy I use my entire bottle every couple of weeks if just road driving been known to fill up if I go get muddy. Pics not mine I have no abs so mine is right back leaving space for my extra batt. Look at pipercross or viper got decent airtight induction. K&N is for saxos. :D:D:D:D

Thanks Tuskan, only I have the ABS and the Maff sensor to mess with.

Where do you guys dunk your engines lol.

Would you say the filters give you more power or MPG. ?
