Freelander 1 Throttle seizure

Hi,
Please can anyone help me solve the problem of throttle seizure on my FL1 2002 automatic V6 petrol?

Is the peddle seized, ie will not move, or does the engine not respond to movement in the peddle?

Is it the USA spec fly by wire system, or the UK/EU spec cable throttle?

Yes its the U S spec no cable

The engine is not responding

You need to get any codes read, but it's possible the throttle body has failed. That would be more likely than the pedal position sensor or ECU.
