Hi Guys, I am not ususally a man given to emotion but I just wanted to share my appreciation of the help I have received on this forum.
I wonder if there are many others in my position who are totally in the dark when it comes to Land Rovers and who have benefited from the advice and good will available here.
My heart felt thanks may be alcohol induced but they are genuine none the less and I would just like to formally acknowledge said help and say well done to the contributors and moderators alike - long may you continue to do so!

Shut up and drive the thing:D:D...Oh, and it normally takes more drink than that to get all emotional. Lightweight.;):)

Thats wot happens when you move south, especially yorkshire:D. You lose your god given abilities for drinking, starting fights for nothing, swearing etc etc..:confused::confused::confused:Is there any houses for sale down your way??? and I'm probably goin to get it from all the Yorkshiremen on here now, aren't I?
 
Don,t worry it is not all bad - I swear like a trooper and could start a fight in an empty phone box. And there is more of us down here than you might think - you wont be stuck for a drinking /fighting partner :5bcheers2:

It is probably a good idea we didn't arrange anything for this weekend as my good lady set off down the road with the tailgate open - slammed on when she realised - I think you can imagine the result.
Both tailgate hinges as bent as a dogs n%b.
Stripped door down, removed hinges, hit them really hard with the biggest hammer I could find and hey presto all is well.
I even found out why the rear wiper didn't work -seized and why the tailgate speakers didn't work -disintegrated. So every cloud etc...
Just let me know when is best for you to come over.
