Hi all,

I have been looking into getting some more aggressive All Terrains to. What I have now (GG AT2) and have been looking at the Cooper S/T Maxx tires...

Only thing is I don't know anyone who has them to ask about their performance both on and off road, I have a few points that I look for in a tire as the car is my every day drive I don't want anything too noisy on road with relatively good fuel economy (I know it will be worse than what it was due to the nature of the tire).

I just find the AT2's fit what I want on the road but off road performance I find they struggle in certain circumstances where a mud tyre would be better.

Anyway, just wanted to hear thoughts from some people that have experience with them,

Cheers

great off road. not so good on wet or snow/icy roads

I've got a set in 285/75 16 flavour, found them a great all rounder, quiet on the road and good offroad as in lanes but of course fall down in gloopy mud ( but so does very other tyre unless it's an extreme mud tyre, found them ok on wet roads but never tried them on ice or snow as havn't had them that long, they're on -32 offset d'mods and I've done about 2k on them including a C2C and various lanes, I've since gone to extreme tyres 35's on mach5's and prob won't use these again ( as only do low milage apart from trips and p&p's ) so will be up for sale soon.
