a follow up to this one, I've got a V8, trying to save a few quid so i figure maybe I wont put any petrol in it.. if I run out it'll just be pushing it so i think I'll take my chances..

Any other sad gits out there in Landy land with nothin' better to d? Wot is the most stupid question- thought my interiior light one last night was pretty good but working on a better one.
Any contributions???????

I have a puncture in the rear nearside wheel, it's only flat at the bottom, so if i take it off and put it back on 180 deg out (with the flat bit on top) will i still be able to use it until i can get to a garage.

:5biagree: :behindsofa:

i dont see why that shouldnt work.......or better still swap it for one on the other side of the vehicle....then its out of sight too....so youl never know/worry if its working or not,on the other hand why not just buy a bag of air and shove that in...but be quick as due to the current economic climate i read somewhere that even this wont be free for much longer under a new EU directive(all the fresh air must be given to france/germany,and their garlic / onion air will be flown straight back to the UK at a very fair cost to the uk taxpayer, indeed many of our leading politicians have already been over several times at great expence simply to sample the air,and they all agree that its too good to be wasted on the likes of you and me!

The other one i can't get me head round is, if meathane is an ozone depleating gas, why are there so many politicians around the world

spouting BULL ****.

Well I don't know why you haven't thought about this sooner, but as the V8 running on petrol manages about 15 miles per gallon, whereas my Disco TD5 running on diesel does more than 30 miles per gallon, it's pretty obvious you should use diesel in your tank same as me.

There's been a thread somewhere about the correct grade of spark plugs for diesel Landies.
