Think the roof is original?

So props rebuilt and fitted, rad, intercooler and hoses fitted, new fuel lines, and all filled up with coolant.

Seatbox trimmed for the disco linkage, reinforcer modified and a bit of strengthening added to the middle.

While at the breakers today I seen a disco and whipped the centre counsel out to see if it could be made to fit? And then I though....
I could relocate the handbrake too!
So it all still needs tided up bolted down

, think I'll carpet it, but it's no far away

so a busy few days and night seen it all up and running! Started up fairly quickly and sounds really sweet.
Completed a few wee runs, about 20 miles so far and it's been good, apart from that disk handbrake thing, it jingles away like mad, pretty sure it's from the fixed pad, that's going to need stripped and sorted!

But other than that, its good.
Few wee niggly jobs to sort and then I may strip the winch down, although I may have to get new springs as it sits so high now without that slt!

Well, running good, but the front axle is leaking! Looks like a hairline crack in the front diff housing,

was hoping to do a few miles before having to renovate the axles, but looks like it'll have to be sooner

Been a wee while since I got near the 110, hose move and other things! But it fits in the new shed that came with the new house

Finally picked up a new axle, stripped and painted up.

ordered up new swivel seals etc and a set of diff bearings to assemble it.

Now the the swivels were a little pitted and after reading a few threads, I've gone for epoxying them up and painting with an enamel paint. I know a few dont agree or like it, but I ain't made of money;)

So..........

check out my shiny red balls:D

Busy old couple of days, cleaned up the rear axle, changed the rear shocks and springs and made a start on the rear bed for camping.

so the platform is level with the rear seat when folded down, the slats store in the left hand arch box and the recovery straps in the right.

The whole boxes are held in with 2x tie down rings and one at the rear door, so they can easily be completely removed

You could sell this to me saying it came out of Solihull like that and I'd believe you....absolutely stunning work

Wired up a split charge for going away, fitted the battery in a box with various outputs, then wired the box to a big Anderson connector, so I could remove easily if needed.

then the 2 jobs I had been putting off!

Sort the courtesy lights and central locking. Easy I hear you say?

Well, firstly I spent an hour tracing the inputs to the missing alarm module, then finding the outputs and bypassing and linking them up, pin switches all needed sorted too and 4hrs later a light:)
The CL was pretty much the same deal with fitting 2 2nd row motors on top and routing the wiring and tidying up.

Next will be the alarm I suppose?

Day off today, so fitted my new boots, sorted the new drop arm and centred the steering.
Fixed the rear interior lights, new mud flaps.

and fitted a boost pin and ring, now it just sits that little bit happier in the motorway, I don't think it liked the 1.22 to before? But seems more comfortable now.
