Think I have a small leak.....

I noticed that there appears to be a small leak from a coolant hose today. I've attached a pic, can't figure out if the water is coming from the AC pipe getting cold/condensation or the coolant pipe above. It certainly doesn't drip with the engine running. Coolant was changed recently so not sure why the water in the pic looks a bit old/rusty. Any thoughts?

4.0 V8 by the way....

Doubt it's condensation from the aircon lines.

The aircon pipes are at the opposite side. Looks like it's a small coolant leak from the union.

Cheers guys, getting new pipe put on tomorrow. Small leaks can become big leaks quite rapidly!

Hi, I too had a small leak at that point, turned out to be the hose was swelling very slightly when hot so the coolant gets past the connection, new hose and all was water tight again. Just old age on the hose and had lost its shape for a better word.

are you sure its water and not power steering fluid ? this can look rusty if its old and needs changing,try tweaking the banjo bolt on top of the steering box dont go mad just a smidgen, wipe it clean then turn the steering wheel from lock to lock to see if its wet again
