i think you will find that no road fuel duty has been paid on it,
thats ok for you as long as you keep records of how much you use and don't use more than 2500l in any 12 month period, however they are breaking the law, they should also not be selling you that **** this time of year

well,
wouldnt start this mornin!!!!
do struggle on cold mornings, so i got a jumper pack, put that on and usually starts, but not this mornin, was out early though at 7am.
put jump leads onto r lasses doozel astra and fired straight up..
think battery shot, less than 12 months old though which is a ball ache.. any recommendations on new battery?

Who is breaking the law?
and this 2500 ltr limit has been discussed before. Its quite frankly a load of tosh. Who has got proof that i have used more than 2500 ltrs?
last time i saw it discussed it was apprently your responsiblity to prove you've used less by showing the till reciepts for less than 2501 litres of oil. :behindsofa:

i think if i was a bit thick...i might say "yes mr HMRC... I have used more than 2500 ltrs" here please have my bank account details.
If i were the average person i might be more inclined to say "dear HMRC.. please provide documented evidence that i HAVE used more than 2500 ltrs as fuel on this countries roads" and then await the response

Easy, you hand them a receipt for 100 litres, (keep your last receipt, throw the others away), and tell them your giving it a try to save ths planet. Job done.
