look good hanging on the wall but the novelty wear of ,you will be waiting for the compressor to catch up , air lines fowling up etc , ok if your going to do repeat tasks .Still got a set used at first just collecting dust now quicker to grab the socket set and dead blow hammer if you have a tight nut on the very rare occasions.

To be honest... I use my windy gun lots. Much to Jai_Landrover's consternation! My 11 year old uses it when he is removing wheel nuts (not for tightening though!) It's quick and easy.

The best thing I found was replacing the pneumatic tube that comes with the compressor for one that allows greater delivery of air. I would take the specs of the compressor and go and talk to a local air tools supplier... they'll let you know what's what.

The compressor is good for more than windy guns too. Paid a hundred quid for mine and wouldn't be without it.

I,ve got a half inch one I run off a 50lt compressor.( in the work shop ).

I have a 180 psi twin pump " frame " compressor for me nail guns at work, ( 6 lt,s ), and it,s not enough for the air spanner.

Aside from the air spanner, I find a compressor really handy when yer doing jobs on the motor. ( or lawn mowers, or chop saws etc ).

Looking to get an air impact wrench seen this in machine mart, its only to do bits on my 90 so it wont get heavy use.
Ive got a small compressor with the air tank frame will this be up to the job.Clarke CAT232 14pce Air Impact Wrench & Ratchet Set - Machine Mart
Hi 90 how you doing, that type of compressor won't be man enough for an air gun and definatly won't run an air ratchet. It's the CFM figure thats important not the PSI you only need 90psi for air tools but you need a high cfm

Machine marts tools are a poor mans imitation of the real thing ,they have a branch up here in bolton,i call in for bits and pieces but nothing major ,we also have up in burnley ,20 mile from here / burnley plant and tool auction where you can get some really good gear at the right price so i would say look in machine mart etc for a guide as to what you need then find a similar plant auction near you and for the same money as machine marts ,you could a professional piece of kit which would last you years ,hope this helps ,ady
