Right me noo Disco has got air con, and on top of the thermostat housing is a pair of male spade connectors. but no sign of any wiring to fit onto them Any idea what they do (if anything) and where the wiring should go?? I'm assuming it's got sommut to do with the aircon. but fook knows what.

It's also got the single male spade connector coming out the side nearest the engine for the dash temp gauge. and that's wired up and working fine.

But the 2 on the top have got me confoosed

OK i will..............Its "thermostatic overide switch" existing in the form of a temperature sensor screwed in the thermostat housing on all D1's fitted with air con. The air-con fans will kick-in if there is the likely hood of the engine overheating because of the restricted air flow that is a resuilt of the extra air-con kit in front of the rad.

I will look at mine and trace the wiring but i suspect it will disapear in to the wiring harnes and gone for good...

Cheers yaa star I figured it was something to do with the aircon. I scrapped another D1 with air con & I took the wiring harness out in 1 piece so will have a look and see if I can trace the buggers.
