Theives about in East Dorset

Watch out, theives about in East Dorset!!

I live in Alderholt, near Fordingbridge. I had my spare wheel and tyre stolen out of the back of my Landy last night. (5 spoke deep dish alloy and new 265/75 16 Mud Terrain) .

Local Police said that two other wheels and BFG tyres were also stolen last night in nearby Verwood.

this is going to sound really strange, fitted a wiper motor yesterday and left some tools in it. locked all the doors(and checked)
This morning door wide open-nothing missing. Thing is there are two vehicles blocking it in-unless they are after a certain part OR LOOKING FOR IMMOBILISER WTF going on

That does sound strange - how do you leave tools in a starter motor

In a white Transit/VW tipper? They may have been round my way too, on Sunday evening.

Trouble is, Landy spare wheels are easy pickings aren't they? Either sitting on the back door or in the pick up. I've replaced my nicked spare with a scabby old Range Rover alloy and barely legal tyre.
