Tooken delivery of a TIM ammeter for the 300 manual rebuild that getting a split charge in...the destructions in the box are sketchy and seem to suggest I connect both wires to the same (battery) terminal of the starter solenoid....can this be right?How?
Also I had it in mind to monitor the charge state of the starter batt and the secondary separately...can I wire up to switch between to show both?
Again,also,Ive come by a SUNPRO oil pressure gauge with no capillery,(and it is a capillery one!) does any one know the thread sizes I need to order fron Vehicle Wiring Prods to fit into my 300tdi?I'll be needing to use their tee piece so whats the thread into the block?I could go out and try out various nut and bolts but its raining,the barns full of sheep/series II/IIas and Ford D seriess lorries (ongoing projects/albatross round neck)
