The Sun is Here, And i can't Remove sunroof Help please.

hi i have a defender 90, with a sunroof, it opens but i cant seem to remove the glass panel it has two buttons on it but can't seem to remove it, been to main dealer, they did not know how to either, i hope some one can help.

chances are its probably had a leak with the previous owner and is now sealed shut so opening it can possibly cause you problems when the rain returns.

if you want to get the glass out you should use the red button and then the lever should release for you.

if you want to just open the sunroof then use the green button but again if the mechanism is working (which it looks like it is) then the sunroof is possibly a little stuck through lack of use or more likely been sealed down to stop leaks.

Yes it has been sealed, and it has been opened buy me , and with the huge flange of silicone it does not leak (fingers Crossed) , the green button works, and the red moves a little leaver inside i can see but the bracket/ handle does not separate to be able to remove the glass, its like i need to do another action ?

probly just as quick to remove the whole roof
