Hi - the stretch West from East Ilsley (A34) to Bishopstone near Swindon is now a restricted byway - so not driveable.
There are plenty of other great lanes around the Ridgeway though, and I'd be happy to show you a few

widget you know any green lanes round here that are legal and suitable for a non moddified disco 2? im trying to convert my dad to an off roading person! Thanks,

Yep - the areas I know well are south of the Ridgeway, Lambourn and the Marlborough Downs where there is plenty of scope for a standard vehicle. Main issue is finding non-scratchy lanes of course, which excludes about 50%!
