.....that go from what looks like a motorway to an "up/down" thing on my Range Rover.

Can anyone tell me what it does/means?

Also, when I go to sports mode the display tells me that I have changed, and two triangles pointing inwards have come on.

That used to go when I switched back to "normal" mode.

Now it doesnt, and I am having overheating problems?

Any connections?

Thanks in advance by the way, and sorry for being a "School run mum" - as I was called by a mate the other day.....

do you mean the cruise control button on the centre dash?

I dont think so.

Its on the right hand side of the centre console (ie where the aircon etc is) and it has what looks like a "motorway", and an up/down knob.

There are two lights, sometimes its on the passenger side - which is the motorway - and sometimes on the right. It tends to be on the left at higher speeds.

Also, there are two knobs/levers near the handbrake/ignition, one has the car on a slope, the other what looks like a mountain. Both are just set in the middle at the moment??

Anyone??

Is this on a P38 as it sounds similar to the manual air-suspension control (or height display) on my P38 .... similar but not identical ?

Time to take and post a photo ?

The motorway symboled button on the p38 is the cruise control activator and speed is increased etc on the steering wheel, dont know about the l322 models though

Its not a P38 - thats the "Classic" one isnt it?

Mine is the newer, more "boxy" shape.

i will take a pic, and see if I can suss how to post it.

"I may be some time"....:D

.If you click on the pic, it gets bigger.

I'm talking bout the light/knob right in front of the gear shift, and the two switches behing the gear stick.

Thanks folks.

Well, that interior shot looks nothing like my '87 Classic or my '99 P38 so I'm guessing its an L322, especially with the ignition key where it is.

We need an L322 owner to help you out.........anyone here have an L322 ??

The motor way symbol lights up when you drive at approx 70 for 30 secs or more. When it starts to flash it is telling you the car suspension is getting lower to improve stability at speed. This happens without doing anything. You cannot select this setting yourself.

Did they not carry over from the P38 the ability to manually select the motorway suspension height at lower speeds?
