The island (I.o.W)

Anyone green laning in the island?

I was walking around following the O/S maps and was surprised by the number of + symbols I was seeing.

Are these still open, or (more likely) have they closed since time of print?
Cant believe the tennison ridge is still an open boat...

Plus of course the island seems to be the natural home of the landy anyway, given the ratio of them to 'lesser vehicles'

I am from the Island but living up here in Warwickshire for a while.
The Tennyson Trail is marked up as having access but there have been some incidents lately and its status keeps changing so worth checking through the official channels and they usually put up the bit of paper in a plastic bag nailed to a post.

just go along to those routes marked ++++ and drive em! they will be fine unless, as busa says, there is an official notice saying the lane is closed. please do heed to these as we are all going to lose the right to lanes in the UK if people keep driving them ilegally.
