FACT the real F424 NPE would of had a VIN number that started KA370371 why? Because it had exposed door hinges... This car in the video does not have exposed door hinges which means its VIN number would start KA374641 if it doesn't then its a ringer. So where is the real F424 NPE? Scrapped

I'm thinking of restoring my range rover, it's a 1989 on a F reg in blue, but this particular range rover was once owned by three gangsters in Essex in the early 90's... On december 6th 1995, patrick Tate, tony tucker and craig Rolfe were shot dead with 12 bore shotguns whilst sat inside this range rover on a remote farm track in rettendon, Essex. I bought the range rover back in 2001 and it's been sat in my yard ever since, I bought it from the insurance company for £2000 with the intensions of putting a interior in it and selling it on but after doing some reasearch on the car, it started 2 freak me out. I've read things like in the summer months you can smell rotting flesh, the only part of the interior the police left was the dashboard and that's what I think that smells....... It's kind of freaky, do you think I should restore it?? And btw the full registration is F424 NPE
As far as my research tells me is that the range rover is now in a grave yard somewhere getting rusty, it did appear on danny dyers deadliest men, and also ended up in a few auctions, I also know that it was stolen too.

The last I heard the previous owner was going to take it to Canada
He tried to sell it on eBay but it was pulled after complaints + he thinks it's worth a lot more than it actually is

Why would you want it and do you know how old this thread is?
This is the most pointless story to ever come out of gangster Britain. But they do love making dodgy films about it, watched fall of the essex boys the other day, best bit about it was the bird off eastenders tits. Sean beans Essex accent was comical in that other one too.

Spot on, the owner lives in Canada but the Range Rover is currently stored in Northampton.

There has been this sort of controversy surrounding RR's before, in the form of a certain two-door with a camper conversion used by an unsavoury celeb. As far as I know the latest owner was planning to return the vehicle to original & market it, can't see the problem myself as vehicles don't commit crimes - only their owners..

Just scrolled back thru this crock of ****e thread, and notice that the OP never did post any pics or prove that he actually owned it. Also why would the Insurance company have it?? Can't see the driver having made a claim on it??? Well not unless the broker was into attending seances?

Can you imagine the fone call

Hello is there anybody there

Whoooooo..

Is that you patrick Tate

Woooooooo..

Do you want make a claim.??

He's telling me that he does. and that he was just sat in the car minding his own business, when he heard a loud bang. & he's not really sure what happens after that..
