Following a van on the way to work this morning I noticed he had bald rear tyres. I muttered to myself something about the lack of police on the roads - usual rant. Then my phone rang. I had forgotten to switch bluetooth on so I had to pull over to take the call. Post call I continued my journey only to see the van had been pulled over. The blue insignia behind me was an unmarked police car. By giving up my slot in the traffic, I exposed matie ahead's tyres to the rozzers!

I hardly ever forget to turn bluetooth on and had I answered my phone as I was tempted to do so (expecting an important business call) the rozzers behind would have nicked me - not the knobhead with bald tyres.

This story was a beautiful demonstration of order from an unplanned random sequence of events!

You were lucky, my son got done by a wpc from the Met for answering the phone whilst driving. The fact that he had pulled into the side of the road and applied his handbrake before answering the phone did not count because she said he had answered the phone whilst driving down a hill towards her and there was two pc's that would back up her version of events. She gave him a ticket and that cost him his job because the firm he worked for (BOC) had an instant dismissal policy. As things worked out she did him a favour as he landed a peach of a job. Hope she needs the help of a member of the public one day and her perjury comes back to haunt her. Chest clear, rant over.:violent:

But she actually did him a favour so why wish damnation upon her for altering the course of your sons life for the better???

That's just bizarre. :)

Because it p*sses me off that somebody that is paid to uphold the law can commit perjury and two other pc's can pervert the course of justice. That is why, or am I being unreasonable? I do not think so.:D

You are absolutely right, they think they can do what the #### they like, I've had some really interesting confrontations with them where they have been pushing their luck, never lost:)
