As previously mentioned the cable snapped on the Tailgate window. I"ve managed to take it off but what a mess Cables twisted a right palaver. Any way ordered a replacement part CVH101150 £32.99 arrives Monday but should I have bought the kit which comes with a new motor for £100+
How do I wind the cable around the motor wheel, is it straight forward?
On Friday bought a set of 4 new Tyres for the old Freelander online from ATS TYRES. They are AVON AS7 All Season tyres 215/65/16 and the cost? Just £291.56p fitted at my local ATS Tyre shop who wanted £480. fitted if I bought them in shop so a saving of nearly £200.00.
Any advice about fitting the Regulator really appreciated. I have looked at the Videos but none show what to do with the cable.
cheers

Do not panic Mr Mudinuri!!

The new regulator comes with cable fitted to a pulley and does not require any threading anywhere!!

Old motor unbolt and bolts onto new regulator with just the shaft to locate in the new pulley.
