Just a quick thanks to those who pointed me in the right direction regarding my immobiliser problem ( jason2 ). Got the unit out from the dash and popped it out of its casing. Bingo ! One very black soldered joint. I've fitted a new complete unit from Land Rover as i do not want to suffer any more problems in the future.
