:Dwould just like to a big thanks for all my questions anserd as im new to this very young and would like it to work out in the future going on playdays after a few lessons of how to use the thing properly. its passed the mot thanks with your help with only 2 advisories 2 front brake flexis he ajusted the carb screw for the co to come down and that was it . he mentioned to me the tyres were oversize 235/85/16 but wasnt a fail . all i have had to do on this since i have bought it are clean the brakes up (new ones fited 4 years ago and only done 1000mile) and welding on the chassi abouve the rear bump stops. oh and a washer pump to say its been stood 3+years i thought it was pritty good and thanks for all the help p.s whens the next play day near derbyshire for novices cheers:D

do your tyres stick out farther than the wings? is that what he meant by oversize? i have 235/70/16's on mine and didn't have any questions when the MOT was done . glad yours passed, feels good don't it lol:)
 
its a god feeling yea when a saw it in his front yard for the last 2 years and then plucked up the courage to ask him how much. and then just to spend like £20 on it and the welding done myself. what he ment by the wheels being oversize there rubbing on lock to lock and stick out a little not enough to warrant failing it cheers anyway for the help and was grately appreciated

Adjust the steering stops and that'll cure the rubbing.
