Scotland,
Having acquired a Volvo C70 convertible last year, I have had occasion to use a Volvo forum to ask for assistance on issues a couple of times. In view of that experience I want to say a massive THANK YOU to all those of here who have helped, tried to help and just given guesses, when I have asked for help on here.
The difference between those on this site and those on the Volvo forum is palpable. Had the response on here not been as fantastic, (with a touch of weird sometimes ;) ) as it has been I would have been up a creek without a paddle, which has been made even more glaringly clear since buying the Volvo.
So to one and all thank you for just being what you are.

As a long time "lurker" I would completely agree with your sentiment.

I have learned a lot from reading posts on this forum, It is definitely one of the more friendly and helpful places on the internet!

Me too! We recently got an old Golf Mk4 so I had a look at the forums...
One was just miserable, no help and straight away scathing comments, not even in humour. Another I found is much better but there only seem to bea few people on it and very few posts... made me appreciate how good Landyzone is all over again. Even for thin skinned sensitives like myself.:p
(and yes Saint, of course we all missed you ;))

Ant it should go without saying but just in case you hadn't guessed ...... you get a massive chunk of the thank you ( and the weird) .:D:D:p

Without this forum my Range Rover ownership would have been very short lived I reckon having had it fail as soon as I got it home.
On many occasions I have thought that the car was scrap but Saintv8, Benble (talking me through a transmission rebuild that I would not have attempted in a million years without their support) and all the rest of the members and not to forget TomCatAlan leading me astray ;) , have given me the courage and mental stability (Alan excluded from that one) to methodically work through and solve the problems so I also owe this forum and its members a huge thank.:)
