intermittant electrical problem,sometimes when I indicate the indicators fail to work the rev counter and speedo stop working. If I pull over and switch the engine off and wait a few minutes, on restart everything works.Can anybody please tell me the cause of this

Looking at wiring diagrams for MY01 on: The circuits you mention share an earth connection which may either be loose or require cleaning. Look for a group of black wires coming together and bolted to bare metal either just above the fuse box (below dash drivers side) or under bonnet where inner wing meets bulkhead (illustration not very clear).

O.k. earths may not be the cause of the problem but it's a start point. There is a high resistance somewhere which is overloaded by the indicators. Good luck.
