i want to test power up my winch. At moment I don't have a solenoid fitted waiting for it to be delivered.
its a superwinch EPi9000 motor has Ground,F1,F2,A connections. which connections would i need to connect to battery to spin it up.

I believe, from what i've read and what i understand of winch motors...

Connect F2 to A and to Earth. Connect +12v to F1 for one direction

Connect F1 to A and to Earth. Connect +12v to F2 for the other direction

(NOTE: do not think you can just connect the other F terminal to earth and skip A, this could end badly, you must connect the other F terminal to A and then to earth... I can explain why if you would like)

Connect earth to the ground bolt, link a and f1 and the positive to f2 (it will spark) that will rotate 1 way the fir the other link a and f2 and positive to f1,
