Hi Folks, I have a 110 at the moment which is a double cab work horse, I had two others before that. The first was an ex RAF 110V8 that I converted to diesel using a 2.8 Power Stroke TDI that was available at the time.

Recently I had an epiphany. I bought a Tesla, mainly because it was a tax efficient thing to do at the time. However the moment I first put my foot down in that car Fossil fuels were dead to me. I now want to convert my 110 to full electric. Hence joining, so that I can pick a few brains and share in the collective knowledge which must be considerable on here.

I'll start another thread on the EV Conversion.

Morning and welcome,

I assume you have seen the Welsh company that makes retro EV vehicles. They have a few vids on you tube of the 110 thay have fitted with the EV system.

Cheers

Welcome Aboard :)

Interesting project.

Given my borderline rabid intolerance of technology for its own sake, I'll be interested to see how this pans out for you - a simple electric vehicle with the abilities of a 110 / D1 / RRC appeals - but the "modern" stuff full, and I do mean full of revenue earning solutions to problems which do not exist, is why a D1 is perfect for me :)

Best of luck with it - I'll be watching with interest .... in fact I'm toying with buying an electric quad ATM, so o_O

LR produced some EV tratters for development work so if yer looking to convert a 110, it's worth searching for info on them. Serveral video's on youtibe having a partual look round them.

I want to convert my FL2 to electric anorl. But not untill second hand bits fall in price.

Thanks.
It certainly is expensive, I think components will come down in cost as more EV's get scrapped / written off. I'm still researching but I haven't been put off yet.
