Anyone running terrafirma suspension? i have been looking around and these are the cheapest kits. i need a lift kit mainly for off road use that can take a bit of pain. Also looked at the britpart super gas shocks and britpart yellow springs. Any thoughts?

forget britpart...

go for terrafirma, there's a few on here that have it and that's what im getting for my 90, after getting some feedback from them, the terrafirma is good value for money

I second what JP says. I got some Terrafirma dampers put on my 90 with new standard OE springs at Christmas time and they have transformed the ride and road holding, pretty good laning last weekend too.
Very reasonable price.

ive got a full terrafirma lift, cant recomend them enough! their kit looks mint specially all the castor correction, cones etc
ive got the light weight springs as i have a stripped out disco only with 2 seats!

forget britpart, has crap reviews on their dampers

springs and shocks out the boxes

rear corner fitted with dislocation cones and HD retainers

2 inch lift, with the arches cut sits fairly high

cant fault them so far. am currently running their +5" shocks and medium duty springs all on a 90 truck cab. The springs are great!! hard enough for road use and soft enuff when offroading!!

I need to replace my original front shocks (would replace basic £10 Britpart rear ones as well) and these seem good value. I dont want to increase the 'standard' hieght/ground clearance. My springs look like originals so may as well go for the full hit and replace them as well.
95% on road with just half a dozen off road trips a year, nothing to extreem. Having snapped a rear shock and dislocated a spring last year I just want a good compromise and improve the ride and road holding but dont want to extending brake pipes or straining my diffs.
So.....'standard' all terain Terafirma seem okay... but what make of springs would be best match up? Can you recommend the best place to buy from please. Cheers :)

hi all, new to this, was looking for lift kit and good articulation, where do you find the kit as pictured, and do u need to change the arms because of the lift and/or any other components. as i say new, so please bare with..

do a search theres hundreds of threads on the subject

so how much did that kit cost v8 disco. Are them dislocation cones polyeurathane?

haha no they arent poly?! lol they are shiity britpart ones that are being replaced ASAP with reverse cones from QT

The springs and shocks were about £240 i think from craddocks
extended bumpstops were about £14
extended hoses about £50

ive just got front +2" terra shocks for my 90, there ace, running them at standard-ish height, HD springs on front and back giving minimal lift, and they are great! good quality and build!

have given me plenty of extra articulation on the front!
