The white connectors behind my passenger and driver footwell kick panels have broken pins in them. Which for now I have temporarily retapped together.

Anyone know of a neat way to connect up to 10 wires together. A waterproof snap together plug thingy..!

Would rather not solder, but can if required.

Thanks

Solder and heat shrink best way to do it. Or you could buy new plugs and sockets, they come with pins and refit new. Vehicle Wiring Products Ltd. Suppliers of auto electrical parts.

Years ago you could get a straight connector made with solder inside and a heat shrink outer, fit over the stripped clean copper wire and heat with a fag lighter, solder melted just before the heat shrink so made the joint and sealed the cable in a few seconds, used them on plant trailers worked a treat dunno if you can still get them tho??

You can get crimp connectors that have a filler which seals the joint when crimped, bloody expensive though:)

You can get amalgamating tape from Maplin. It's basically thin rubber that once applied joins together to become waterproof.
