As soon as the engine gets up to temperature I loose boost. When it is cold I get some boost but not like it used to be. If I drive at night when the ambient temperature is low and the engine is cold, it boosts perfect.

I'm not getting smoke (only as normal on early gear changes and pulling off) unless I am driving up a steep hill. I have a new lift pump. I do know however there is a small hole in the intercooler but I cant see why that would cause this.

On the 21st of May I have an appointment at Allisports for fitting of a new rad, intercooler and a tune. I'm thinking I need to get to the bottom of this before this just encase they wont be able to do the tune up.

I don't know where to start. A neighbour did suggest that the catalytic converter has gone but I'm pretty sure the 200tdi doesn't have one.

Have you put a gauge in the line?
The line is the black plastic one that runs from the turbo to the top of the injector pump, it also connects to the turbo wastegate actuator.
