Technical Advice Please...

Dear all, May I pick your brains for a moment...

I am about to change the rocker cover gasket and sort the injector wiring loom. Engine oil has managed to get all the way up the wiring loom to the ECU..

I have two questions,

How do I clear the oil out of the wiring loom without having to remove the whole thing? Secondly, When changing the Rocker cover gasket, would you use a gasket sealer??

i use a little silicone to hold gasket in cover if it doesnt itself ,after changing injector loom clean other as much as you can with sprayable cleaner ,both ends and do ecu end regulary till dries leave loom in place oil will dry up eventually with no ill effects once oil not gewtting in from injector loom
