Tdv6 engine swap

I’m looking to buy a disco3 with a engine defect, I don’t know what the defect is yet, but it’s it possible to enige swap it with a 2.7v6 Citroen engine? Or at least the main engine block itself

I believe the bell housing pattern is different on the Citroën V6, due to its transverse layout.
The Jag engine is the same bell pattern, although the sump and oil pickup pipes are different.


Consider if its worth doing the work, before parting with your cash, as an engine change on a D3 is a huge amount on work, with loads of stripping down.
