Tdi into V8

Just a short one to ask if any one has done this and can help me avoid a pitfall !! I love the V8 but i have a nicely rebuilt 200 Tdi ready to go in. My Disco is a manual. wiring and plumbing I can handle but what will i need to mate the engine to gearbox? Im assuming the output shaft on the v8 gearbox is different? any help would be great cheers

input shaft and bell housing ,you can fit 4 cylinder bell housing if lt77 or r380 ,and make a spigot bush to cater for smaller diameter of v8 shaft to tdi

Sorry meant imput shaft..... v tired today. Could I not use the V8 clutch or is that compleately out?

no use tdi clutch
