well after 3 days the disco engine is out and degreased ,90 engine is out and engine bay degreased and preped for 200tdi, day 3 200 tdi engine is in just needs plumbing in , hope its worth it lo i am shattered

so far its all gone too well i managed to get the engine in and bolted up by myself this evening in less than an hour how spooky is that

just take your time now to make sure all your connections are good, all fuel lines are tight, etc. double check everything and it plain sailing fella

need to get the oil cooler pipes extended and also the down pipe conversion and intercooler kit
and a bulkhead repair panel

oil cooler pipes are worth getting made, you got an agri engineer up near you? they should do it cheep nuff.

if your handy with a welder just make the down pipe with sections from the old down pipe and the disco jobby, thats what i did with mine, took couple of hours but works fine.

intercooler hoses are worth getting, i did my own and it was a bit of a faf tbh.

just noticed your only up the road from me, if you want to double check anything against mine your more than welcome fella.

cheers m35reo i have got another here to study thanks for the offer , as you are from dol have you got any decent lanes around there for a couple of novices to try out , i have been up the bwlch where they watch the low flying and saw a few motocrossers going on a track and have always wondered if its a greenlane
