I have an 86 rear drum sals axle 110

I'm pretty sure tdci springs will fit all round, but what about the shocks?

I think the fronts are the same but the back are slightly different.

anyone done this or know?

reason for asking is cheap oem takeoffs.

Ive got 2013 defender 90 shocks and springs on my disco 1 so although they will be different part numbers im sure they will fit

110 rear springs are wider than 90 springs (im sure you know this already)

Guy i got them off gave me a bag of dished washers and some instructions that came with his new heavy duty suspension and there were different washers to fit the shocks to different models

i think the tdci rears have a shorter(or longer travel) and they have some cup mounting points?

hard to find out without having a tdci infront of me.

yeah the washers might make it fit.

sod it, i'll just go and buy standard :D

I think they might have different bushes......Ninety and TDI have squarish ones while i think TD5 and TDCI have cups and the bushes are cone shaped, I think....

Yes, just different bushes (and perhaps washers).

I just fitted a 2011 TDCi rear axle to my 1986 90, didn't use the perfectly serviceable OE shocks that came with it (still available if anyone wants them) but instead bought some different bushes and re-used my existing Koni Heavytrack.
No issues.
