TDCI RADIO INTERFERENCE

Hi All Again!
New problem on my 2010 110 TDCi - whenever I plug in a phone charger or even insert a usb adaptor into my 12v cigarette lighter on the main dash I get terrible interference noise through the radio!!!! It's fine with the CD or external input but just with the radio??? The main reason I'm asking for help is I'm about to put in a dash-cam so it will make the radio unusable!!! Any advice appreciated and thanks in advance!

Are you using the same device at all times when you get the interference or does other devices and USB chargers cause interference?

Sometimes cheap chargers, USB devices and cables have shielding problems...

No, a Griffin USB port????

Worth remembering at this time of year, buying cheap product is not always good value ...
Speshully if it's a fire hazard ...

The problem with these things is that some cause interference and some don't, There's no way to find that out until you plug them in. Even adapters of the same type from the same manufacturer can or will behave differently.

Will give it a try and let you know!
