We've just got a 07 110 van body with about 140000 on the clock. It's started cutting out. Revs just die out, usually down to about 5-600 rpm, no throttle response and it then cuts out. For the last few days, it's been undrivable.

No fault codes and no warning lights. Does it at idle and at higher speeds.

If it was a TDI, I would have suspected fuel pump issues but this one has so many electronics in the way, it's probably not that simple.

However, sticking to it being a fuel supply issue, where is the fuel lift pump on a TDCI? Assuming its in the tank. Only heard it running once and don't know if you would expect to hear the pump running or not.

Or has anyone got any other ideas?

Hi did you ever sort this I know its been a while I replaced the valve on the back of my Diesel pump and the PRV on the fuel rail and it cured the problem straight away. Phone up a ford dealer and ask for the parts its half the price of land rover for the same part.
