hi thinking of fitting tdci axels in my 300tdi 110 but dont know if it would be a straight forward swap or would i have to change anything or if the ratios would be ok plus i have a set of boost alloys if they would go straight on so i thought its a question for the experts and this would be the place to find them .so if anyone has the answers i would be greatfull maybe someone has done this change before

Why? Why not use standard 110 axles? Is there anything you particularly want on the tdci axle that isn't on the 110?

not really just have the chance of a couple at reasonable price and thought well there next to new and mine has quite a bit wear in them now and it will cost more for the parts to recon mine than it will cost for 2 newer axels

Should swap straight over more or less from a Tdci 110. You will need to take the prop from the donor vehicle as well, or source a Tdci 110 rear prop. The diff is different to that in your current (Salisbury) rear axle.

Personally I'd do up what you have.

Think your 110 should have a Salisbury rear diff, dunno if the newer ones do. I'd keep the Salisbury ... ;)

thanks for the advice mine has the salisbury rear axel with discs but are the halfshafts the same as all the rest of the axels as mine are worn to bits and wear do i get halfshaft from if there not ?
