td6 vouge entertainment system

iv been looking at buying a used td6 vouge (2004 -2005, buget £15k).. iv noticed that there are two different types of entertainment systems on these.

one which iv noticed like the one on the bmw`s 6 button on the left side and 5 buttons on the right side and 2 knobs on the bottom

the other with 3 buttons on the left and 3 buttons on the right with 2 knobs and below the two knobs are other buttons.

can any one tell me what the difference is with these systems and which is a newer/better system to have.

any reply is appriciated.
 
I recently got a 2005 Vogue and it has a touch screen system.

The earlier models did not have that feature and that is probably the difference.
