L322 td6 starting issue??

hi all,
another post=another problem,
ive starting experiencing an intermitent starting issue. every now and again, when i go to start my car , i put the key ingnition, wait for the lights to go out and turn. nothing happens no click no cranking, i have to hold the key in the position for around 3seconds then it will fire up on first crank , no warning lights, everything seems normal before cranking, just seems to be a 3second delay before it will do so. my head is telling me a poor ground,

ps on a side note i have got a misfire which im still trying to work out

If it is an earlier L322...they did have ignition switch issues.....check the voltage output from the switch, at times they can go as low as 9V meaning the switch is iffy!
