Hi all, sorry for all the posts recently. I'll nit bore everyone with the detail again, but I changed my HP pump and now I have really poor performance, as in walking pace acceleration.

I've been looking around the engine today and I've found this plug behind the engine, it seems to be coking from the turbo? I'm hoping I've caught this and disconnected it accidentally. Hopefully this is the case, it would make my day!

It was behind the engine and I lifted it up, its not the intake sensor plug, that's in.

Has anyone any ideas to where it goes or if it is just a spare, I know LR have a habit of leaving in spares!

It's the M57 engine.

I have searched the forum but I can only find info on the two spares next to the battery / right side of engine bay.

Cheers
Chris

What does it say on the red label,
i may be well wrong but me that wring looks to me like it might be a power box, it looks a lot cleaner and different to the stuff at the back
can you trace where it goes.

Ah I do have a have a tuning box on it! Sitting above the turbo! The red label says do not connect upside down.

I'll check this when I'm home, thanks for the reply !

The cable goes around the back of the engine and seems to come from around the turbo location. Thinking about it I do recall seeing my tubing box led indicator flashing, but couldn't recall seeing this before. Will let you know!

Brian, absolute legend!

I must have knocked the tuning box connector off the common rail whilst removing the intake, I've connected it back up and with the new pump and a cleaned out intake manifold it's never pulled as well! Thanks so much for the pointer!

Cheers

Yeah it's a bluespark tech2 I think, I bought it years back for the mpg saving but performance was pretty good too!

It would have taken me ages to figure it out as I never intentionally removed it, so never thought.

Anyway she's back on the road again now, celebratory pint in order I think!

Thanks again
