Hi Friends.
Problems with 05 td6. It ran out of fuel, then the pump on the body packed in, then the tank pump, .it started to run rough, turn off the key , then restart it would run fine, then would last anything form ten minutes to 30 minutes as sweet as a nut. the high pressure pump would output around 30000kpa, and 50000kpa when its running rough. The high pressure pump and regulator valve have been replaced, since then a all pumps on the fuel line replaced. fuel rail pressure sensor also replaced It has been on land rover official diagnostics, and icarsoft. both came up with plausible fuel pressure. I am hoping someone has had this problem and found the cure. Message on dash,,,,,,fuel injection system,,,,,,,. It starts perfect from cold. When the fault pops up and you turn off the ignition it runs on for a second or so. Then when you start it again the fault clears, then back again. Its a lot worse when it reaches full temperature. Thanks in advance. Michael
