Ant, i done that when i got home from work yesterday, opened the filler hole and about 1/3 of a pint came out
anyway this morning i put it into drive and it engaged straightway happy days so guess the problem was due to not getting the level right with the temperature of the oil,so i will run a tank of juice through it and change it again, what do you think ?.

Yep...an earlier TD6 that the gearbox runs well
