Prior to breaking these 2 engines and selling the all the bits on ebay, if any of members are looking for bits please let me know....both blocks are damaged everything else is perfect
TD6 (2005)had done 45000 miles ( was a damaged repairable i repaired, had been on it's side and put a piston through the block), so replaced the engine, i drive this vehicle everyday.
4.4 M62 (2002) had done 89000miles, bought this with the engine damaged ( no compression in 4 cylinders), i still have the vehicle, i had another fitted and the wife drives it everyday, however i have a vanos faultcode showing in the ECM, i have just hired the setup tools and am going to tackle this next week.
Strange thing is,is that the car drives perfect, but has a slight miss at idle, so slight that a normal owner may not notice.
