Hey all,

Not been on the forum for a while, she's been behaving herself. Just a strange noise has returned. At 65 or over when accelerating theres an odd ticking noise. Reasonably loud, cant hear anything when I rev it but appears when accelerating at high speeds.

It was there a while ago, disappeared when i did an oil change but now has returned.

Any ideas???

Second thing I had a broken coolent hose a while ago replaced that and topped up the level. Then a few weeks later I noticed there was barely any coolent in the expansion tank.

I hoped it was just air in the system so topped it up, its still on the mark so fingers crossed. :) BUT while driving it yesterday it was taking ages to warm up (on the gauge at least) then the guage went from 1/4 mark to it's usual place in about a second ?? seemed to warm up allright today though.

Thanks

Adsey

Might sound silly on the ticking issue, but check for things stuck round the wheels / pro shafts etc. It's amazing what clings on and whirls round!

I had a mud flap caught on top of the rear wheel the other day which was doing my head in! Obviously easy to spot, but from experience it's not always something which has broken! :D
